Fans won’t have to wait long for the second season of Shonda Rhimes’ historical romance drama - Bridgerton. The series has been officially renewed for a second season, and filming is starting this spring.
In its announcement of Bridgerton season two, Netflix included a special edition of Lady Whistledown’s Society Paper. In it, we learn that Season 2 will focus on the eldest Bridgerton sibling. Anthony, played by Jonathan Bailey, will be looking for a suitable wife. In all likelihood, that means the show will follow Julia Quinn’s second novel in the Bridgerton Series - The Viscount Who Loved Me.
Casting is currently underway for several new roles, the most important of which is Kate Sheffield, Anthony’s love interest in The Viscount Who Loved Me.
