The film takes us back to the turn of the 20th century when the Osage Nation struck oil, turning its members into overnight millionaires. This newfound wealth attracts a wave of white interlopers, who seek to exploit and steal the Osage's fortune.
Based on a true story and told through the unlikely romance of Ernest Burkhart (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Mollie Kyle (Lily Gladstone), Killers of the Flower Moon is an epic western crime saga where true love and unspeakable betrayal collide. Also starring Robert De Niro and Jesse Plemons, Killers of the Flower Moon is directed by Academy Award winner Scorsese from a screenplay by Eric Roth and Scorsese, based on the best-selling book by David Grann.
"Killers of the Flower Moon" will be available for streaming on Apple TV+ worldwide following its theatrical release. The film will premiere in select theatres on 6 October 2023, with a wide release on 20 October. It will be available for streaming on Apple TV+ shortly after its theatrical release, allowing subscribers to enjoy the epic western crime saga in the comfort of their own home.
