Netflix has given fans a glimpse into what's to come in the upcoming Bridgerton prequel limited series. The streaming giant released a photo featuring young Lady Danbury, played by Arsema Thomas, standing outside with a look of apprehension on her face as she faces someone. According to Netflix, this image is from Episode 6 of the series.

The prequel to Bridgerton, titled Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, will focus on the ascent of Queen Charlotte to power and influence. The series will recount how the young queen's marriage to King George not only resulted in a great love story but also led to a significant social change, shaping the society depicted in Bridgerton.

On September 24, Netflix shared a clip that showed Charlotte's first encounter with her husband, George. In the clip, the determined future queen unintentionally meets George at the moment she is trying to escape their arranged marriage.

The cast of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story also includes Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte, Adjoa Andoh as Lady Agatha Danbury, and Ruth Gemmell as Lady Violet Bridgerton, all reprising their roles from Bridgerton. Other cast members include Michelle Fairley as Princess Augusta, Corey Mylchreest as a young King George, Arsema Thomas as a young Lady Agatha Danbury, Sam Clemmett as a young Brimsley, Freddie Dennis as Reynolds, Richard Cunningham as Lord Bute, Tunji Kasim as Adolphus, Rob Maloney as the Royal Doctor, Cyril Nri as Lord Danbury, and Hugh Sachs as an older Brimsley.

Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story will premiere later this year.
