LG has unveiled its largest and smallest OLED TVs yet.

LG unveiled its new G2 series models with an improved OLED panel. According to the company, the new screens provide higher brightness for ultra-realistic images with incredible clarity and detail. LG's G2 series from 2022 introduces a new 83-inch model and the world's first 97-inch OLED model, as well as the 55-, 65- and 77-inch TVs already in the range. LG claims that the G2 is the brightest OLED TV yet.

Along with the G2 series, the company also showed off its new C2 series. LG's C2 series offers the most versatile choice of sizes: the world's first 42-inch OLED TV, ideal for console and PC gaming, in addition to 48, 55, 65, 77, 83 inches. Select C2 Series TVs also deliver higher brightness for ultra-realistic images with incredible clarity and detail.

All of LG's 2022 OLED TVs are certified for no flicker by TÜV Rheinland and Underwriters Laboratories, as well as no glare by UL. LG's OLED panels are also recognized by TÜV Rheinland for their low blue light level and are the first in the world to meet the low blue light emission requirements of Eyesafe, a U.S.-based health standards agency.

LG says the Alpha 9 Gen 5 processor will include better 4K upscaling, improved tone mapping, and a greater sense of depth by improving the foreground of objects. The Alpha 9 Gen 5 also expands the capabilities of LG's AI Sound Pro feature to provide viewers with more realistic sound.

According to LG, it's the new webOS 22 that will provide maximum convenience and easier content discovery to users. It also introduces personal profiles so users can enjoy a more personalized experience. Among them is a Kids profile that brings up content suitable for children.

The NFC Magic Tap can now be used to broadcast to a mobile device's TV screen. Viewers can also broadcast content from one TV to another in the home using the Room To Room Share feature. This new feature, coming later this year, allows a compatible 2022 LG TV to share its screen, including cable TV, wirelessly to another compatible 2022 LG TV.

The 2022 LG TVs will also offer support for Matter, a new industry standard for a more secure and seamlessly connected smart home. LG lets you use Alexa, Google Assistant, and its voice control system on your TV.

New for 2022, LG customers can easily select and switch between game-specific features and display presets directly from the TV's Game Optimizer menu.

In 2022, LG is adding new services that facilitate more personal and interactive experiences at home, such as LIVENow, 1M HomeDance, LG Fitness, and Independa.

LG is also introducing an expanded lineup of QNED TVs for 2022. The LG QNED Mini LED TV is capable of incredible contrast thanks to LG's precision dimming technology. All models starting with the QNED90series are certified for 100% color matching so viewers see the same, high-quality image every time, even at different viewing angles.
