BTS fans, brace yourselves! Jin has just shared his first photos since enlisting in the South Korean military.

BTS's oldest member Jin shared photos and a message for his fans for the first time since joining the South Korean military.

After five weeks of basic training at the 5th Infantry Division's recruit training center, Jin attended the graduation ceremony on Jan. 18 and he's looking sharp in his military uniform.

Jin, whose full name is Kim Seok-Jin, officially began his service on December 13, 2022, and according to several reports, he is undergoing training at an Army Front Division training camp in Yeoncheon, 60 kilometers north of Seoul.

But don't worry, he's not too busy to think of his beloved fans. Jin took to the Weverse website to share a message and the photos, saying:

“I’m enjoyably spending my time here. I’m posting photos after receiving permission from the military. ARMY, always be happy and take care.”

In South Korea, all able-bodied men between the ages of 18 and 28 are required to serve in the army for about two years. All BTS members have been allowed to defer the start of their military service until they turn 30.

Stay tuned for more updates on Jin and BTS.
