Shakira shared a video of herself shaking her curves to her scathing diss track on Thursday, January 26, writing:
"Women don't cry anymore, women dance merengue."
Former soccer star Gerard Pique's decision to go public with his new relationship on social media comes after Shakira slammed him and his new girlfriend in her new diss track, which has since topped Spotify's global charts. The Colombian singer released "BZRP Music Session #53" earlier this month and didn't shy away from calling out Piqué and his new 23-year-old girlfriend. Shakira slammed the new couple's age difference, saying she was "worth two 22-year-olds" before joking that he had downgraded from a "Ferrari to a Renault Twingo" and a "Rolex to a Casio.

Shakira’s Gerard Piqué Goes Instagram Official With New Girlfriend
Shakira's ex-husband has gone Instagram-official with his new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, just weeks after Shakira released a diss track about their failed marriage.
Despite the amicable nature of their split in June 2022, tensions rose again after old footage from Zoom surfaced showing Piqué and Marti together in 2021, while Shakira was still in a relationship with the soccer player. Shakira allegedly realized her husband had been unfaithful when she discovered a jar of strawberry jam had been eaten while she was away. The singer was aware that neither her ex-partner nor their two sons, Sasha and Milan, had a penchant for strawberry jam, leading her to suspect someone else had been in their home when she discovered an empty jar.
In April, Shakira referenced strawberry jam in a music video for her single Te Felicito, which featured a clip of her collaborator Rauw Alejandro's head in an open refrigerator.
